disk is full message

I am trying to save changes to a document to both a USB drive and to the hard
drive, but I get a message that the disk is full or too many files are open.
This is the only file I have open and there are 93 MB of free space on the
USB drive and 67 GB of space on the hard drive. How do I get it to save?

Sounds like the file is corrupt if it will not save on the hard drive. Hope
you have a backup!

The origininal is still on the USB drive. But I gave up trying to save the
changes.

Other files saved just fine. Whatever.
