We have an Access97 application running on an XP Pro
client with approximately 10 users. The application is
shared on a Windows2000 file server using Active
Directory. The workstations also have OfficeXP pro
installed on them.
If the application is left running for more than a couple
of days, the client receives a 'Disk or Network error'
and the user has to exit out of Access. They're able to
start the application after that with no issues, but then
the cycle begins again. The strange thing is the same
application runs fine in Win95 (yes, we still have some
Win95 clients!).
Does anyone have any recommendations on how to
troubleshoot this? We don't think the issue is with the
network since Access is the only application that seems
to get the error.
Thanks in advance,
