I understand that OneNote can store information as is upon downloading or
pasting, or dragging from other locations, and also that links can serve the
same purpose...but then the amount of space taken up is much less because the
whole document isn't on my hard drive twice.
Where is the data stored when the whole document or information is added to
my hard drive, not just linked?
With what format is the information stored? XPS? PDF? Word.docx? etc.
The difference would be whether or not the data in a OneNote section or page
can be edited, or just copied and read when shared.
So in what format are things stored, and how or when can they get e-mailed
and actually edited again? XPS and PDF don't allow much editing, if any.
