I regularly get mail with Japanese characters and
formatting.
I have a desktop PC with WinXP/Outlook 2003, and I use the
MUI for both. I have a laptop with the identical
configuration (winXP/Outlook 2003) with the MUIs.
Obviously I've installed Japanese fonts.
I use Exchange Server 2003 for the mail server.
On the desktop PC, I can eassily read the Japanese
characters in an email message. However, if I view the
same message from the laptop, the Japanese characters are
replaced with the question mark ??? symbol.
On the laptop, I can create messages in Japanese with the
IME tool.
So, any ideas what I should do? Should I reinstall Office?
Thanks,
Chris
