display autonumber on form

Hello!
My form is used not only to enter new data, but to review previous records. Is there a way to get the already-assigned autonumber for previous records to show up on the form?

Have you tried simply adding the field to the form?
In form Design View ...
Click on the Field List tool button.
Find the Field and drag it onto the form.
