Display comments and changes by date (Office 2003)

I am editing a document based on comments and changes made by other users to
separate documents. The updates made to these other documents have been made
on top of previous edits. How do I isolate the comments made most recently
so I don't have to view the time stamp to weed out the comments and changes
I've already seen.

Comments/change tracking works differently in each Office app.
