Display count of days of year in calendar

Before I go to the effort to create and import a custom holiday calendar
so that I can see they Day of Year, is there any way to get outlook to
display this?

What I am looking for is the count. So for example 01/15/2008 was day 15.
02/01/2008 was day 32. Today (03/19/2008) is day 78. I seem to recall
having had this before, but I could be wrong. '

Thanks!

There is an option to show the week number but not the day number.
Just curious; why is this useful to you?

I work with Julian dating a lot, its very handy to know what day of the
year it is. For example someone asked me to update a date field to the
14th of March today and I had to figure out that the date for that Julian
field as stored in raw form in the MSSQL database is 108074. 1 being
nothing 08 being the year and 074 being what day of the year it is since
the beginning of the year.

I found a solution that worked on Diane Poremsky's site. I created a
custom import following her guide at
http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/countdown.htm

From a former MVP allow me to express my gratitude for those of you who
still provide such fast and good service to the community.

You're welcome and good to hear you've found a solution. And thanks for
posting it back :)
