Hi
We are using OWC 11 to let users browse cube content on our local intranet.
We have managed to customize the control quite nicely to suit our companys
style scheme and the functionality of the OWC control is great.
Except
How the heck can you use Analysis Services 2005 "display folder" setting to
layout the fields in the field list on the OWC control. Currently all fields
are dumped in one long list of fields and are not very user friendly.
An even more pertinant question..
SQL 2005 Management studio uses OWC 11 to browse the cube and they show the
cube metadata in a nice tree like list using the display folder settings of
the dimension and measure fields. I can see that the list on the left is not
the field list for the OWC conrol, but it would be nice if this code to
create the tree list would be made available for public consumption.
