I am using Publisher 2007 to create my website.

The links to PDF files and other sites do not work in Safari and Firefox. I
have ungrouped everything but the text box are seen as graphics and the
hyperlinks do not work when in the main white text boxes.

my site is www.unite2010.ca

The hyperlinks in the sidebars work to the bookmarks, but it sometimes goes
to the wrong bookmark.

Thanks

Besides grouping text boxes, the second most common reason for text boxes
being converted to an image and killing any textual links in FF is filling
the text box with color.

On your home page in the main text box, you have filled the text box with a
white fill color. This converts the whole text box to an image and kills the
link 'more information'. Your choices are to use no fill color or if you
want the appearance of using a fill color then there is a workaround. First
remove the fill color from the text box. Then go to Arrange > Snap and make
sure all the options are checked. This will help in the next step. Now
Insert > Text Box and draw a new text box over the original text box. The
Snap to function should make it easy to start at one corner and make the new
text box the exact same size as the original. Now insert the fill color you
want into the new text box > Arrange > Order > Send to back. Now when you
produce your web pages the two layered text boxes will appear as one filled
text box and the links will work. Do not group the two boxes, or once again,
it will be converted to an image. And do not use fancy borders or that also
will convert a text box to an image.

As per the bookmark links I see that on page
http://www.unite2010.ca/index_files/CONFERENCE.htm that the two links work.
So, where ever your other links are that don't work, check to see if you
have written the link correctly, and written and placed the anchorcorrectly.
You apparently have made some sort of error as you obviously have figured
out how to use this feature.

I do think that you may still doing some grouping as the dark blue color in
the left column and behind the link in the top navbar are pixilated in FF,
and that is usually the case when it is grouped. However, it might also be
the fill color issue I first talked about.

Make those changes and come back if you have other issues.
