Display information in newspaper columns - InfoPath

Julie

I have a table with 4 columns of information (first name, last name, phone
extension and office location). This information only takes up about 1/3 of
the page. I'd like to get this table to repeat in newspaper columns (fill to
the bottom of column #1, flow back up to the top of column #2 through the
bottom of #2, and back up to the top of #3, etc.) so that it can fill the
page.

Does anyone know if this can be accomplished? In fact, InfoPath might not
be the best vehicle for this. I'm simply pulling all the data from a
SharePoint list and trying to format it in a way that saves space, doesn't
include any unnecessary "junk" (navigation on the page and whatnot) and
reduces the amout of paper I use. If you have another suggestion I'd be
happy to hear it.

Thank you,
Julie

Hi,

if you want repeat the data (first name, last name, phone
extension and office location), you can use the repeating section or
repeating table.

In infopath, Navigation on the page is not possible..

Thank you. I understand that I can use repeating sections, but I want to
flow the table of information into multiple columns on a page. Right now it
flows to the bottom of the repeating section (bottom of the page), but I
don't know how to get it to start in a second column at the top of the page.
(Is this making sense?) If I put three columns of repeating sections
(pulling the information I want) then the information is repeated in each
column, instead of flowing it from one column to the next. Think of how MS
Word uses the Newspaper Column feature. That's exactly what I want it to do.
But I don't know if that's possible.

Thanks!

Hi,

In repeating section or repeating tables data will repeat in each column,
you want data shown in next column, i think it is not possible in Infopath
2003.
I think in infopath 2007, we have Horizantal repeating table, check once it
may be work.
