Display is not life size

Ben

I'm using Word in Office XP on a Win2k machine.

Documents at a zoom of 100% appear far larger than real size on the
screen.

I'm using a 15" monitor with a 600 x 800 pix area. This setting gives
the correct size for icons and system fonts, and also for the desktop,
which fits conveniently into one screen. Changing the display epands
the desktop larger than the screen or crams it into one corner of the
screen, so I'd rather leave that setting alone.

Is there a simple way of having the document on the screen appear the
same size as it does on the page, other than playing with zoom till I
hit the right number (probably about 70%)?

Thanks!

What on earth could be easier than clicking on one box and selecting a
different percentage number? That's as simple as it gets, you're just
making it complicated.

It took you longer to write your email than it would have taken you to
adjust the image size.
