Display Issues

This just recently started when running MS Word 2000. The display seems to
be constantly refreshing itself. The pointer turns into the hourglass icon
and you see a blank bar scan down the page from top to bottom. It does this
many times a minute and is very annoying. At the same time this phenomenon
appeared in Word it also started doing it in Outlook Express. I got rid of
OE and replaced it with Thunderbird and that stopped... now this only happens
when I run Word. Any ideas on what is causing it?

Since this is a newsgroup dedicated to Word for Macintosh, you might
have better luck with a WinWord group, perhaps

microsoft.public.word.application.errors

This is the document repaginating itself. May have to do with the autosave
setting - how often is it set to save?
