Display Lag as shown in the Predecessors box - MSP 2002

I want to display a specific predecessor for a Task, exactly as shown in the
predecessor box.
For example, I may want to display only the second predecessor in this
task (234FS+3d, 524SS+30%, 36, 822SS+1d)

I can display a specific predecessor, by finding the order it falls in the
Task's predecessor list using the TaskDependencies Index value, and parsing
out the Task's Predecessor field, but this is cumbersome and slow, when
automating reports for thousands of tasks.

Is there an easy way of displaying a Predecessor's Text?
