I just update my Office Pro 2000 to Office Pro 2003 and use Outlook 2003
connected to Exchange Server 2003. Our company contact database is in a
public folder, which is setup to be an Outlook Address Book. When sending an
email in OL2000, I would type in the person's actual name, like Joe Blough,
and the To: field would populate with Joe Blough (the display name). Since
the update to OL2003, I've got two probably related problems.
1. When entering the display name for the contact, the To: field populates
with the email address, not the display name.
2. When I start typing in the To: field, the auto-fill list shows only the
names in my personal contacts folder, not the company public contact folder
addresses.
When opening a contact, I find that the email address and display name are
both populated with the email address. Any ideas?
