Display no graphics in OE mail

How do I set OE (Win 98 SE) to display no graphics when I open an email? I don't mind having attachments that I can open or not; I just don't want any graphics of any description to display when I open an email.

Which version of OE? Only the latest one supports blocked internet content.
See tomsterdam.com if you need more assistance - this group is for Outlook
(which does have blocked content in v2003.)

Then use the option to read all messages in plain text only. Or use something like SpamPal with its HTML-Modify plug-in to strip out the linked images (which can be web bugs) as embedded images are okay (unless you only get porn spam and don't want to see those pics, although you can have HTML-Modify remove all images without also losing HTML formatting of the message).
