The Euro symbol "€" (ctrl-alt-4) displays correctly in spreadsheets created
as a blank workbook or from most of our templates, but not from one
particular template. Any workbook created from this template displays the
Euro symbol as a vertical bar, whether used as simple text or as an Excel
currency symbol. This behaviour appears to be independent of PC or font.
I can think of various circumstances in which a particular character might
be displayed as a vertical bar, but none which would be dependent upon
document rather than font or config. Has anyone seen this before? Is it
possible to correct it without rebuilding the template from scratch?
