Display of Equation-Editor 3.0 in Word documents

I cannot persuade Word 2002 to display the equations that
I create in Equation Editor. In place of the equation, I
see a logo of Equation Editor 3.0. I have deselected the
Picture Placeholder box under Options. I find nothing in
the Help system or online. Any suggestions?

Hi, Doug. When you go to insert the equation, uncheck the "Display as icon" box on the same screen where you choose Microsoft Equation 3.0.
