Display Other User's Contacts in Address Book

Tara Ballard

I have a user who wants to display her bosses contacts in
her list of address books. We are running Outlook 2002
and Exchange 5.5. She is an Owner of all folders in his
mailbox, but when I try to go through the steps outlined
at http://www.slipstick.com/contacts/oloabpf.htm, I get a
permissions error when trying to open the bosses profile
from the user's Outlook.

Is there another way to do this, or am I doing something
wrong?

Thanks so much!

Tara

You will need full owner permissions to the mailbox, not just the individual
folders. But only temporarily.

The user does have owner permissions to the boss's
mailbox (done by right-clicking Outlook Today - Mailbox
<username>)...still get the permissions error ("cannot
open mailbox-you do not have permission to log on").

Help????

That's still folder-level access. Try granting access to the entire mailbox
through Active Directory.
