display problems

After Dark Design

I have used Front Page since they created it I think. I am currently having
a display problem I have never had before. I typically design in resolution
size 1024 x 768. Which unless a viewer is using 800 x 600 my pages view
correctly. But I have a client telling my they are having to scroll to view
the page. They are using the same IE brower, the same resolution size and
their window is maximized. Anyone have a clue what could be causing this?

I tried it too, and it works great. Nice looking dogs! =o)
Maybe they had a mini-screen when you shrink a regular screen it sometimes
reopens littler. Did they have a full screen? What size monitor are they
using? Mines a 19" and it looks great!

What size monitor are they using? Mines a 19"

The physical dimensions of the monitor are irrelevant. The resolution of the
monitor is what matters.

Actually it's not. What really matters is the width/height of the browser
viewport. Resolution only determines the size of a pixel, and therefore the
maximum practical setting for a browser viewport.

True. In this case though, the view port was defined as 1024 x 768.

Well I disagree on my 15" monitor I had to scroll to see the whole webpage.
It was just a question. If you want to pick on someone for trying to offer
help...sheesh.. I'll go hide in my box.

Where did you get the idea I was picking on you?

Despite your personal observations with 15 and 19 inch montors, the physical
size of the monitor isn't the source of the scrolling.

are you both using the same size type setting in the browser? same browser?
those dogs are illegal in our county
I hope you are not selling them for fighting

PS: the type on the buttons and banner is almost illegible. The banner
artwork looks "fuzzy"
