Hi!

Just wondering...

How can I display a project with new timescale settings after publishing
it? Because I tried reopening the published project in MS Project with
modified timescale but I saw that it did not change. It was as if I did not
change anything on the timescale settings.

Kindly advise me.. thanks!

Hi Grace, I just followed up on your previous post for this; put simply, I
cannot replicate your issue. Can you provide more detail of key strokes etc
so I know exactly what you are doing?

Hi Ben!

Sure... Actually, this is what I did:

On the MS Project 2003

1) I created a new project and edited the timescale settings with the
Middle Tier Months instead of Weeks and Bottom Tier Weeks instead of Days.
2) Save the project in the project server (Project name: Timescale Test)
and published it.
3) Close project and MS Project 2003
3) Open MS Project and same project (Timescale Test)
4) Checked the timescale settings and it is still displaying Weeks on the
Middle Tier and Days on the Bottom Tier.

As to your previous message, you said that we can edit the timescale but how
can we keep the edited setup of timescale after closing the project and
reopening it? Can we have different setup of timescale per published
project? How?

Kindly advise me..

Thanks!
