Display size of drop list

How do you increase the displayed size of a drop list (created using data
validation)? I want more of the list visible to the user than the current
"default" setting.

I found my answer, sorta, at the "contextures" link listed in several other
posts here. However, when I select "Control Toolbox," the "combo box" button
is shaded and therefore, inop. (So are all other options except Design Mode,
Properties, and View Code.) Any thoughts are appreciated.

Nevermind, I figured it out, sort of. I had worksheet protedted somewhere
and that was causing "combo box" to not highlight. Now I ned to figure out
how to do those...
