Word '07 in WinXP
Is there a way to display the "style" of a text selection in Word 2007?
I am experiencing trouble with TOC using heading styles in a doucment
originally created in Word XP. Some of my text appears in the TOC. Had this
same issue at times in the XP version, and it was usually due to the problem
text being inadvertently assigned a heading style. Previous versions made
finding these glitches easy, using the normal view with the style pane
displayed.
I found that normal mode is now called DRAFT mode in the 07 version, however
I did not the style pane dispalyed. Is there a way to display this info?
I find it unusal that the style group in the ribbon does NOT dispaly the
style of selected text; I have to click the More drop down arrow on the
styles group to see current setting of any selected text.
Am I doing something wrong?
All Suggestions are appreciated!
