Display Summary & subtasks in external Project file?

Is it possible to display (and have automatically update) a Summary Task
along with it's Subtasks in a different Project File?

I'm trying to display (display only, not create any dependencies to my
project tasks) a small portion of another project inside of my project. I'd
preferto not create a master project and combine the two projects into the
master. I don't want to just copy the tasks either as I would like them to
be automatically updated.

Hi,

Your only option is to duplicate the tasks in the other project then copy
paste link start and finish dates. Danger here is that if you move, rename
or over-write either of the projects sooner or later one or other of them
will corrupt. Take REGULAR backups!!
