Displaying all Tasks

I have project server setup and running and I am able to connect to it with
Microsoft Project Professinal 2007 to upload my project.

What I am trying to do:
Upload a project schedule I created so that one person (the administrator)
can view all the tasks and upcoming events that are going on for my team. My
idea is that someone would administer this database, then make it so project
server could send out the tasks to the individuals via Outlook while at the
same time allow my boss to view the entire project schedule tasks and events
on his outlook.

In trying to view the project schedule using Project Web Access while logged
in as Administrator, I am unable to view all open tasks and deliverables by
default through going to My Tasks. In trying to view the project through the
Projects tab, it gives me the error "Project Center cannot access the
project(s) you are trying to view. It is most likely that you either don't
have permissions to view the project, another user has deleted this
project(s) befor eyou were able to view it or that another user is in the
process of publishing the projects. Given that I am the administrator I
don't think it is a permissions issue.

Any thoughts/help would be appreciated to be able to view what I am trying
to view, and also how to go about doing what I want to do with Project Server
and Outlook.

Thanks

I would verify first that you as the administrator are part of a group that
is associated to a category or that you are associated as a user directly to
a category that has at least 1 project center view enabled. And through
that category make sure that you have access rights to the project. Try
adding yourself to "My Organization" and verifying that that category has 1
project center view enabled.

I assume you published the project because you see the project data in My
Tasks?

Correct, I see it under My Tasks. I have a follow up question: I have the
outlook add-in to connect to the project server. When I goto "Import New
Assignments", how does it determine which tasks it is downloading? Is it
based on the group assignments like you had mentioned?

I guess first things first.

I would like to do everything from 1 computer using the Administrator
account. I have the project file and server running on my laptop. Ideally I
would like to be able to modify the project, upload it, then sent out
appropriate Outlook event reminders to my manager and also the appropriate
team members.

Any advice on how to go about doing this? i tried enabling my permissions
for the admin but that doesn't seem to change anything.
