Displaying appointments from a shared calendar in to-do bar

I am using internet calendar sharing to show appointments from my home
computer Outlook calendar on my work computer Outlook calendar. I can
subscribe to the calendar, and view the two calendars in Overlay mode, and it
looks great. But the appointments from the internet shared calendar do not
appear in the to-do bar. How can I get them to appear in the to-do bar?

You can't. Only your default Calendar can appear there.

Microsoft - if you are listening - here is an obvious enhancement for you; it
is a very simple idea, is absolutely essential to me using shared internet
calendars effectively, and it is apparently not possible. Guess I'll go back
to Gmail...

Not in this forum, at any rate. It's a peer-to-peer newsgroup.

How does "going back to gmail" solve the non-default calendar on the To-Do Bar
problem?

If gmail meets your needs, by all means use it. It's silly to use something
with as many features as outlook when a lighter client meets your needs.
Gmail's agenda shows a lot more (all events up to 60 days) than than the
to-do pane can (25 events up to 30 days out - with a practical limit of
about 6 to 12 when you only show appointments).

Microsoft is well aware that people want to show more than the default
calendar but don't expect it to be added to outlook 2007.

there used to be a google gadget that showed the calendar on the mail page.
It stopped working for me about a yr ago and I don't see it in the labs
anymore. That would be the closest you'd get to the to-do bar in gmail.
Otherwise, gmail is not much better than outlook - you need to switch to the
calendar to see the appointments. The agenda view is better - outlook
doesn't show a list of appt from all calendars.
