Displaying custom data - how can I do this?

I can define new data fields, and save my shape back to a stencil, but what I
also want is for the data fields to be prompted for as the shape is dragged
onto a sheet, from my stencil. Can anyone assist please?

On the Design Custom Property Dialog is a check box for Ask on Drop.

John, Thanks for the prompt reply - but I can not see the "design custom
properties" field you mention? Can you direct me more precisely.

Open the Custom Properties Window and right click. Choose Define Property
from the right click menu. If you right click on an existing property, you
can then change it. If the Ask on Drop check box does not appear, go to
Options on the Tools menu; select the advanced tab and check "Run in
Developer Mode"
