Displaying files

I am unable to display my files in alphabetcal order?
When I display them, they show up in date order. I can
click on the name tab and display them but the changes do
not stick when I go back in. Does anyone know how to keep
the changes???

Dave,

While in the open file dialog, click the "Name" bar across
the top to sort either ascending, or decending order.
Clicking any of the other title bars sorts the files too.
