Displaying line number?

line number that the cursor is on?

I don't know about other versions of Word, but Word 97 shows the line
number and column number in the status bar at the very bottom of the
Word window. Click Tools / Options / View and put checkmark on View
Status Bar if it is not currently enabled.

Thanks, Zilbandy! It worked! I would have liked to have known
the total number of lines instead of just the line number on the
specific page, but I can do just fine with the way it is.
