Displaying MS Access on an ASP page

Hello,
is it possible to show MS Access components (particuarly reports) on
an ASP page?

Paul:

No, its not possible to output a native Access report to a web page. You
can output either static HTML (File -> export), or create an ASP page that
would mimic the report, or output the Report to a PDF file for display.
Otherwise, look at any number of the many Web based reporting packages that
are designed for the web such as Crystal, or ActiveReports which allow you
to connect to your Access db to dynamically display data.

I believe it IS possible using the Office Web Components. Please note that
each client accessing this page would need the OWC added to their machines.

Yes. You can view an Access report in a web page using the snapshot viewer
ActiveX control. I have a sample app in a VB6 project at
http://www.createsolutions.net/download_files/MTS Report.zip. I wrote it
several years ago and haven't looked at it in a while but I believe
everything is there.
