Displaying online status

Hi,

i use outlook 2007. i'm not able to view the online status of a person in
TO, CC fields. i can view them only when i rest the mouse pointer over the
name. Is it possible to view the status without the mouse pointer resting on
the name.? please help.

No, that is how it works. You must hover the mouse over the name to see
their presence.

No, I have seen many machines having the online status shown without the
mouse pointer resting on the names. It is comparitively half the size of the
status icon when we get while using the mouse pointer.

In my machine this option under email options--> others is disabled.
and for the other its enabled.
