displaying the same message again and again of resource which is deactivate

Hi ,

when any resource leave the company I deactivate him.and delete the resource
from manager category . but when the manager update the task hours of other
resources the message box is displaying again and again.

the message box is :

" This Project has inactive enterprise resources with remaining work.

Inactive enterprise resources such as:
win.bobsmith

have remaining work in the project . inactive resources will be unable to
report status so their remaining work should be assigned to active
resources."

although the manager change the remaining work to "0" of leaving resource .
and update in the project . but this message is displaying 4 to 5 time
whenever the user update the working hours of other resources.

I'm experiencing the same problem. We are not up-to-date on service packs.
Do you have service pack 2 applied?

LML:

This simply means that you didn't close out the assignments for the resource
before deactivating. Have your PMs set remaining work to zero for those
assignments, and this very important warning will stop showing.
