Hi, I have someone claiming to have sent me an email.
He has produced a printed copy of the purported email but it only shows hisown name next to "From" and "To".
I have never received this email.
This matter is now in VCAT and he is trying to say that I am wrong and deliberately being misleading by saying the email was not received and explainsit by saying that the reference to his own name in the email is "simply a cc and happens when emails are shifted in Outlook from Sent Items to Files"..
He also claims the email was "system acknowledged".
I would have thought that if he had evidence i.e. a read receipt from me, he would have produced a copy of the sent email which shows the read date and time but he has not produced this.
My question - is there any way I can check via my Outlook any emails from this person which my Outlook has provided a read receipt for.
We exchanged many emails in the course of our business and we both always had them set to automatically request a read receipt which was always agreedto. I know I can locate all of his read receipts for emails I have sent, but wondering if there is a way I can check exactly what incoming emails from him have produced a read receipt from me.
Thanks in advance - hoping someone can help with this.
