dissapearing form fields...

I'm building recordsets in access and then setting the
form field values in a Word document based on those
access recordsets. The code appears to be setting the
correct values, but when the .doc is opened by the code,
the first several characters in the document as well as
the first couple form fields are gone. Ive rebuilt the
word doc several time and stripped it down to just the
fields... same problem... quite weird.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

This is being done in MS Word 2000 and Access 2000.
