Dissapearing Graphics After Edit

H

Henry

Like all my colleagues I have a Dell 610 laptop.

However I am the only one with the following problem.

We have document templates set up which include basic drawings of work flow
process etc.

When writing a new document the pictures can be edited to tailor them.

If I open a picture and change it - even just move an arrow or add or delete
a single letter when I close the picture none of the graphics can be seen -
only the text.

If I open the picture the graphics can be seen!

I have tried the various suggestions I found in this NG.

I changed the graphic acceleration in performance.

I tried various views but all have the same result.

I ticked and unticked various things in Options such as placeholders, insert
in line with text etc.

I even repaired office!

Any ideas anyone?

Cheers,

Henry

Hi Henry,
Any ideas anyone?
the only thing you don't mention in your list of
trouble-shooting steps is replacing the graphics card
driver? That could be damaged...

You can also try starting Word in Safe Mode. And starting
Windows in Safe Mode. See if going back to the installation
defaults makes any difference...
