Dissapearing Text

hi all,

Today i opened OneNote (2007) and the text written in every page title and
all notes and text I had previously manually entered throughout all my
sections and notebooks had dissapeared. The text in the section tabs and the
sidebar still exist and are okay as is the inserted files and pictures. It
seems that maybe the missing text is actually there but not vissible, though
i checked the font size, colour, style etc which is all normal. The text
box's are all still there, but are smaller and visually empty.

Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Very wierd.

If you look on a page where there seems to be only text boxes, what happens
if you press Ctrl-A three times in a row with a little pause in between
each time? Does that make the text appear? Do groups of "nothing" get
selected in each of the text boxes?

What happens if you try to change the font color after selecting a text
box? Can you create a new Page and type and have that text appear?

And otherwise none of your Notebooks or Sections or Pages are missing?

Are you by chance looking at OneNote over a remote access connection like
XP's Remote Desktop or Citrix?

Can you check if the text is all gone, or just invisible? If you hit
CTRL+A several times, then copy, and paste into a new page, do you get
your notes back?
