dissapearing Watermark

I have recently made up a new page with a watermark which is in fact a portrait
of an old man(of me).

It has worked fine for some time and a letter I needed to have that watermark on
was in fact printed exactly as wanted. My new Samsung Printer would not print
envelopes - in fact it did not pick them up from the tray. The Canon picture
printer needed some coaching to get it to print the envelope. Firstly it printed
in portrait when I needed Landscape - there were all sort of faults but
eventually I got the envelope printed as well.

Now I can bring up the new page which contains the Watermark but the moment I
try to bring up print view the watermark dissapears and to make matters worse
the final printing also has no Watermark. It obviously has something to do with
the fiddling I did with the envelope printing but so far I have not managed to
come up with a solution.

Worry not, I can eventually get back to a using an Acronis Image of my D: drive
but I would rather know how, so if you please

Hi Børge,

Look in Tools > Options > Print and make sure the options are checked for
"Drawing objects" and "Background colors and images". (Or if you have Word 2007,
it's Office button > Word Options > Display and the options are labeled "Print
drawings created in Word" and "Print background colors and images".)

Humble Apologies - I looked in the wrong place and therefore did not get it to
work. I was about to give up today but then thought I would have another go and
there was the solution, JUST AS YOU SAID.

I am so very very sorry for not getting it right and also spending so much time
on such a simple thing
