Distinctively editing a Word document

Hello, All!

I want to add a considerable amount of material to a Word
document; basically filling in a form, and I would like to make
the additions in a distinctive style. A different font or size
or perhaps italicizing would work but I would like to make a one
time setting for my additions. Is this possible or am I being
dumb and not asking the right questions in Help? The possible
newsgroups on msnews.microsoft.com don't seem an obvious choice.

Thanks in advance.

To avoid redundant comments, I do know how to set up Track
Changes but that's not what I want: just a distinctive style to
"highlight" my additions :)
