Distracting white flash when starting presentation

I start my presentations with a black screen and have set my desktop to black to create a seamless transition when coming into and out of a presentation.

When starting a presentation, I get a brief white flash. This is really distracting because I have to jump into and out of different PointPoint files numerous times during our church services.

What are the chances of getting this fixed...
