To Whomever Can Help,
Scenario:
ADE database developed.
Objective:
Having local PCs attaching to server and manipulating the
data.
Problem:
Can't get local PCs to access the server ADE database.
I've been reading the Office XP Developer's Guide
regarding Client/Server Applications and I must be taking
the wrong point of view because whatever I do comes out
gobblygook.
Point Of View:
Install MS SQL Server on a server. Create an install
package (with Desktop Server Engine) for local PCs to
point to Server.
I think this is a simple problem, I just don't get it,
yet. I know I'm miss-reading something.
Can someone point me in "another" direction.
Thanks,
Burt
