I have a PPT 2004 presentation created on a Mac that I would like to
distribute on CD. Ideally, the presentation should run with full
functionality (including transitions, animations, internal links, and
sound files) regardless of whether or not the recipient has PowerPoint
installed.
Older versions of PowerPoint used to have the option to include a
standalone player in the exported version presentation file so that it
could be viewed even if the recipient did not have PowerPoint
installed. Does this feature still exist? If so, how can I access it?
Also, I have tested the presentation on several different PCs using
different versions of PowerPoint. There seems to be some issues with
font substitution. Is it possible to embed fonts in an exported
presentation file.
I would greatly appreciate any tips that might lead to better
cross-platform compatibility!
