We keep our distribution lists in Public Folders on Exchange 2003 and using
Outlook 2003. We have seen the following message a couple of times:
"This distribution list has reached the maximum size for your network e-mail
server"
The lists are used to send out newsletters as attachments, which companies
like Constant Contact won't do, so I need to email these in-house.
I realize distribution lists have a size limit. So, my question is if I can
put these contacts in Access or SQL and somehow either email from those
programs or use the results of a query from Access or SQL as my email
distribution list from Outlook.
I know you can create contacts in Sharepoint (and we have Sharepoint
Services, not server) on our 2003 SBS, but I don't know if you can create
distribution lists in Sharepoint.
You get the idea. Is it possible to use any one of those alternatives to
Public Folder DLs or any other ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks!
