distribution list - hiding names-Outlook 2000

Bill

Is there a way to not have members of a distribution list
or group displayed in the received email? The goal being
that members of the list cannot see the other members
names?

Also, if you omit any To addresses, recipients' mail program may reject the
message completely as probable spam.

Well, thanks to you and "Roady" (my question dated 2/17/2004) we've
figured out how to "easily" solve our problem ... putting the group name on
the "bcc" line works great.
However, just FYI ...
If you don't put ANYONE's e-mail address in the "to" line, and only put
the group name on the "Bcc" line, the recipients see YOUR e-mail address as
both "from" and "to" -- but don't see anyone else's.
However, if you put any (one or more) e-mail address(es) -- or another
group -- in the "to" line, and another set of addresses or group(s) in the
"bcc" line, you'll only see the ones on the "to" line.
