Distribution list problem

Here is an issue that I am having that contains many variables. I am trying
to email a report from Access 2003 through Outlook 2003 using a distribution
list (open the report in Access, File / Send / Rich text format).

When I begin typing the distribution list name into the "To" field, the
AutoSuggest list pops up with various email addresses to choose from,
including the distribution list name. If I select the distribution list name
from the AutoSuggest list and tab to the next field, when I send the email,
an error window pops up asking whether I want to send an Error Report. When
I close this dialog window (by either clicking Send or Don't Send), both the
Oulook and Access applications shut down.

This ONLY happens through this series of events. It does not happen when I
completely type in the distribution list name w/out choosing it from the
suggestions. It also does not happen if I am emailing just from Outlook (not
through Access) and I do choose the distribution list name from the
AutoSuggest.

I do know that this may be an Access related issue, so I am posting this in
the Access community as well. I also know that if I uncheck the Auto Suggest
option in the Advanced Email Options, then this problem will go away.

I was simply wondering if anyone knew WHY this happens, and what is getting
corrupted for this to happen.

It probably happens because the entry in the autocomplete list is corrupted. I'd delete it if I were you.

That would make sense if it were an isolated incident. However, this is
happening on every client that has Outlook 2003 in our office. Thank you for
the suggestion. If you have any others, they would be greatly appreciated
