Distribution list window dosn't show the same as in contact window

I have made a distribution list in Outlook 2003, Contacts with about 69
members and now want to apply a new member and I open the list and try to
choose one from my contactlist-window and I know that is there, it is not
shown in the window in the distributionlist to choose from?
Why don't it show the same and what can I do so I can choose it? --

Thank you for your answer. The contact IS in the adressbook. There are
several other contacts that dosn't show either.

That's not possible. If the Contact is in the Outlook Address Book then it
is also in the Select Members pane when you create a DL. They are the same
thing.
Verify that you have put this Contact in the same Folder you are displaying
in the Outlook Address Book.

okay sorry, - the Outlook Adress Book is not identical with Contacs. I
thought it was the same. I'm very new with Outlook 2003.
I have origanally saved the VCARDS direct from a online adress list and
they where automaticly saved and as it seems, sometime in the sdressbook and
sometimes in Outlook Contacts. Well, how do I get all the contactcards over
in the adressbook so I can save them in my distributionlist? I look forward
to your answer!--

The Outlook Address Book is simply a dynamic display of all the electronic
addresses that reside in your Contacts Folder. Every valid electronic
address in your Contacts Folder will be listed in the Outlook Address Book.
Any Contact that does not appear in the OAB simply does not have a valid
electronic address. Saving a vCard from an online site will not necessarily
create a Contact with a valid electronic address. Open the Contacts record
in question and create a valid electronic address. It will then appear.
