Distribution List

Today I messed up big at work and I could have swore in my last position at a
large company Outlook Distribution List did not do what it did today.
I made a new distribution list and I selected it when I created a new mail
message. Unfortunantely when I sent it from the To line of a new message it
displayed all of the names vs. just the name of the distribution list.

I do not recall ever putting a list in the BCC field and I could have swore
only the name of the distribution list showed up before.

Am I totally crazy or each different companies have Outlook configured
differently.

They are quite upset with me and I would like to assure I do not do the same
mistake twice.

If you create a DL in Outlook, that's how it works.

If the Exchange administrator (or someone who has permissions to) creates
a DL in the Global Address List, it doesn't automatically expand.
