distribution lists not exported

Just as described in Microsoft Knowledge Base Article -
218293, I am unable to export a distribution list (type
of "Contact") from one machine that is running Outlook
2003 to another machine that is running Outlook 2003. The
Knowledge Base article describes (I think) the same
problem for Outlook 2000. How can I get my machines to
behave properly? Thank you.

Just one of the many reasons that exporting is not the correct way to
transfer Outlook data.
Copy your Contacts into a PST file. Open that PST file in the other
installation.
