Hi All:
In Project Server 2003, what is the fastest way to distribute custom
settings in Tools -> Options and other settings to all the end users who will
be using Project Pro 2003 with SP1. Do I take Global.mpt with these settings
and place it under C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application
Data\Microsoft\MS Project\11\1033 or under C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office11\1033 of each user. That way the users do not have to
individually click on Tools -> Options and check the settings or create
create Windows based accounts in Tools -> Enterprise Options -> MS Project
Server accounts with the correct URL.
Has anybody tried this method of distribution for Global.mpt and does it work.
Is teher an alternate. From what I have seen, these are local settings and
applying it to Enterprise Global will not carry over the settings to all the
machines.
Please advise.
Thanks,
