DIW error

Hi to everyone,

i have created a test web site with DIW (FP2003).I tested the site on IIS5.1
(windows xp professional) and everything is ok.
I click on RESULTS PAGE LINKand i see the first 5 records.I click on the
next button and i see the remaining 4 records(DIW has created 9 records
totally).
Then , i click on ADD NEW RECORD LINK in order to add a new record.
The problem is that when i click again on RESULTS PAGE LINK i don't see the
first 5 records as i would expect.Instead i see the last 4 records.
Why does this happen? Is it a bug of FP2003 or is something wrong with IE6?

Thanks in advance
Thanasis

Create a new page for Adding a new record, then change your Add record link to point to that page.
Currently you are being returned to current page / records that you were on when you click the Add
New Record link after submission. From the Add record confirmation page, you need to link back the
results page.

Dear Tomas thanks for your reply,

i think the example i provided was an unfortunate choice.
Consider another situation where DIW behaves incorrectly.
On the left side of every web page of my site
i have a navigation bar with 2 links gifts and toys.
Gifts and Toys are categories of the products table that belongs to an ms
access mdb file.
Gifts links to gifts.asp and toys links to toys.asp.
I click on gifts links and i open the gifts.asp page where i see the first 5
records.
Then i click on the next link at the bottom of the gifts.asp page and i see
the next 4 records(assume that i have 9 recs totally).
Then i click on toys link and i open the toys.asp page where i see the first
5 records.
The PROBLEM is that when i click AGAIN on the gifts link i see the last 4
records and not the first 5 as i expected.
I think this is a bug of DIW. Isn't it?

Thansis,

That does sound like a bug, because when you click on the link to the product page, it should load
as a new page & record set. The only time you should see the last group of records on a prior page
is when using the browser's back button or JavaScript back link.
