dll file

I just purchased Access 2002 and I am trying to load it
onto my computer. I get the following error message:

error 25506. Microsoft Access 2002 requires updated
system files not detected on your computer. You must
install the system files update prior to installing Access.
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\ASYCFILT.DLL is Version 2.40.4275.1 when
we require version 2.40.4277.1.

Where do I find this update or this file? I have tried
Microsoft Access customer support but they require a
Product ID before they will start and the only way I am
told I can get this file is to run Access and look in
Help. I can't do this because I can't get the program to
load at all. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Jack -

Take a look at this article and see if it resolves the issue you are
experiencing.

Also, if you have a retail copy of Microsoft Access then you should be
entitled to unlimited installation support. If you need to call back in
again for an install issue with Access, be sure to tell them that you can't
get it installed and then they should not ask for a Product ID.
