.dll problems

J

Jeff Johnston

Running Windows XP (Home ED)
New HP zd7010 Laptop
Have Office XP Standard (for Students and Teachers)

Whenever in Outlook or Word, I receive an error message:

stating has encountered a problem and must shut down.
offers the opportunity to send a report (have done 100
times). Then shuts down and I loose whatever document or
email I was working in and it restarts.

Error has an App Name; App Ver; Mod Ver; and Offset

The mod name is always: hpzntp07.dll

This is a file located in the driver for my HP Deskjet3820
printer.

I am going crazy.

Any help out there???

Thanks.

Hi Jeff,

Have you tried updating your printer driver? That would be the first
item to rule out.

Second, since you are using a laptop is the printer driver a local
driver or a network driver? If the printer driver is on the network
then remove the printer and add it back using the Add Printer Wizard
so the driver will be installed locally.
